MASSERIA ASTAPIANA VILLA GIUSSO - Vico Equense- Sorrento

The Masseria Astapiana-Villa Giusso is a charming farmhouse in Vico Equense, with ten rooms all furnished with authentic period furniture, where you can breathe in an atmosphere of times gone by: a historic residence suspended between sky and sea, full of evidence of a rustic past life, but also rich in important presences and events. An ideal place to return to peace with oneself and with others, through contemplation of nature and rediscovery of the rhythms of the agricultural world.
The farm, located 400 m above sea level, overlooks the Sorrento plain, of which one can enjoy a unique view. Around the historic buildings, some 13 hectares of olive groves, vineyards, vegetable gardens and chestnut woods welcome visitors for guided excursions.
 

 In this special corner of nature, a study was carried out by Marco Nieri using the BIOENERGETIC LANDSCAPES technique, which led to the creation of a number of paths with different flavours and settings, amidst olive groves, ancient holm oaks, majestic pines and moving wild flowers.
Along these paths, which wind in an arc from west to east, with a view of Vesuvius, the city of Naples, the islands of the gulf and Sorrento, more than 40 trees have been identified that develop bioelectromagnetic fields in their surroundings of particular benefit to various organs of the human body. Visitors to the facility can now benefit from the favourable energies of the trees by following the paths with a map, which will guide them to rest on benches and boulders specially positioned in places suitable for stopping and relaxing within the bioenergetic areas generated by the identified trees.
 
 
In most ancient cultures, hugging a tree was considered a practice to recharge oneself with beneficial energy by tapping into the forces of nature. While in recent decades many international studies have rediscovered the therapeutic effects produced on a psychological and emotional level by the landscape and green spaces, other research has highlighted the actual ability of trees to have an electromagnetic influence on the environment and our organism.
Trees emit weak but significant amounts of electromagnetic energy, the quality of which is of the highest biological affinity. This means that trees are able to affect the quality of our habitat not only psychologically but also energetically, influencing our psychological and physical state.
